Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and MyFarmHub ("we", "us") for your use of the MyFarmHub website and app (the "service"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Our privacy notice and cookie policy explain how we handle your data.

1. Who can use MyFarmHub

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for everything done through your account.

2. What the service does

MyFarmHub is a record-keeping tool. It helps you write down what happens on your farm, by typing or by voice, and look back at those records. It is not an agronomy, veterinary, financial, legal or tax advisory service.

3. AI output: no advice, no liability

Please read this section carefully. Many features use artificial intelligence (AI) provided by third parties, including: speech to text, turning what you say into draft records, photo analysis (for example pest, disease or crop observations and suggested actions), and the farm assistant that answers questions (together, "AI output").

• AI output is generated automatically by a computer and may be wrong, incomplete, out of date or not suited to your farm, crop, soil, weather or region. It can mishear speech, misread photos, get quantities, units, dates, names or amounts wrong, and state wrong things confidently.
• AI output is not advice or a recommendation from us. Any observation, suggestion or answer, including anything about pests, diseases, fertilisers, pesticides, dosages, spraying, irrigation, harvest timing, prices, sales, expenses or yields, is for general information only. It is not a substitute for advice from a qualified agronomist, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, agriculture officer, veterinarian or other professional.
• You must check AI output yourself before you save it or act on it. Nothing the AI drafts is saved until you confirm it. Once you confirm it, the record is yours and you are responsible for its accuracy. Always follow the label and local rules when using any chemical.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no responsibility or liability of any kind for AI output, for any record created or changed from it, or for any decision, action or failure to act based on it. This includes, without limitation, any crop loss, reduced yield, damage to plants, animals, soil, water, health or property, wrong application of inputs, financial loss, lost profit or income, or any penalty.
• You use AI output entirely at your own risk. We do not guarantee that it is accurate, complete, reliable or fit for any purpose.

4. Your content

You own the records, notes, voice recordings and photos you add ("your content"). You give us permission to store and process your content only to provide the service to you, as described in the privacy notice. You are responsible for your content and confirm that you have the right to upload it.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break any law, or use the service to harm anyone;
• upload content that is unlawful, abusive, or that you have no right to share;
• try to access other users' data, break our security, or overload or disrupt the service;
• copy, resell or reverse engineer the service, or scrape it by automated means.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

6. Plans and payments

Some features have usage limits that depend on your plan. If you buy a paid plan, the price, billing period and what is included will be shown before you pay. Taxes apply as required by law.

7. Availability

We work to keep the service available and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available". It may be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons outside our control, and features may change. Keep your own copy of anything important: you can download your data any time from Settings.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of crops, yield, profit, income, data or goodwill; and (b) our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or INR 1,000, whichever is higher. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

9. Indemnity

You agree to compensate us for claims, losses and costs caused by your breach of these terms or your misuse of the service.

10. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings, Privacy and your data. This erases your data as described in the privacy notice. We may end or suspend the service to you if you break these terms or if law requires it.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app and ask you to accept the new version before you continue.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have jurisdiction over any dispute. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve it.
